This family-friendly event, which is produced by Bucks County Dragon Boat Association (BCDBA) , offers a day of fun, culture and competition with the overarching goal of “paddling out hunger” in the region.
The Bucks County Dragon Boat Festival will be held in scenic Core Creek Park (Langhorne, Pa) and registration is open to teams of all levels – community to sport.
When you’re not racing, you and your fan club can check out the many vendors and cultural presentations that will be offered throughout the day.
For additional information about registration, waivers, scheduling practice sessions, and team composition please refer to our Festival Rules and Regulations.

Waivers
All participants in the festival must sign a waiver prior to getting in a dragon boat. It is the team captain’s responsibility to ensure that all waivers are signed before team members race.
Anyone can participate in the Bucks County Dragon Boat Festival. All you need are two dozen friends, family members or co-workers who are interested in giving dragon boat racing a try!
Each team can register up to 24 paddlers (no less than 18) plus a drummer and a steersperson. A steersperson will be provided for those teams who need one.
Cost:
More than 900,000 individuals in the Delaware Valley are presently at risk of food insecurity. This is a fact that BCDBA is working to change through the Bucks County Dragon Boat Festival. With the help of our festival sponsors, vendors and participating teams, we will take a significant step toward realizing our vision of “paddling out hunger” in the region.
Proceeds and food donations from the festival will benefit our charity partner, the Bucks County Housing Group, which operates food pantries in Doylestown, Penndel and Milford Square.
Thanks to the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation for their support of this event.
